PowerFlarm Flex anticollision unit
*Delivery not before March 2025, pre-order*
The new, PowerFlarm Flex portable PowerFlarm device for all manned aviation applications. The successor to the proven and now discontinued PowerFlarm Portable.
The revolutionary dual-mode display automatically ensures optimum readability in all light conditions.
The proven directional display with super-bright LEDs is easy to read even in full sunlight, while it automatically dims at night to avoid dazzling the pilot.
The modern, bright 1.47-inch LCD display provides additional information about the displayed aircraft and enables user-friendly configuration.
Operation via the rotary control could not be easier.
Fiddling with cables is a thing of the past: All antennas are fully integrated into the housing.
The Flarm antenna was developed and optimized using numerical methods and provides excellent range in all directions. Reception for ADS-B (1090 MHz) is included as standard.
A LiPo battery ensures a runtime of up to 10 hours. If this is not enough, the battery can be easily replaced, even in flight.
Charging is either via a 5V USB-C charger or via the 12V power supply. The PowerFlarm Flex can also be operated without a battery (solely power supply).
Introducing FLARM Hub - a web app that runs on the device and works with any smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer - configuring your FLARM has just become super easy.
Flarm Hub can be used for firmware and obstacle database updates.
IGC files can be downloaded directly to the computer or mobile device.
Additionally, FLARM Hub has a traffic display, a bi-directional data port, and built-in tools for rangeanalysis as well as diagnostics & support.
Furthermore, PowerFlarm Flex has a range of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection options and can connect to major navigation apps directly such as Air Navigation Pro, SkyDemon, ForeFlight, EasyVFR, iPilot, and XC Soar.
In addition to the standard FLARM data port protocol (ICD), PowerFlarm Flex also supports the GDL 90 protocol used by many EFBs and navigation apps.
The new CARP range analyzer, which continuously evaluates the measured range during flight, is now integrated into Flarm Hub using the same visualization as the online version.
This makes it possible to verify the radio range on the airfield after any flight.
